Darvag Theater presents "In Memory of Kazem Ashtari" at Central Stage in El Cerrito-Richmond, California.

This ia a play in Persian written by Sepideh Khosrowjah and directed by Hamid Ehya - featuring: Bella Warda, Sepideh Khsorowjah, Mansour Taeed and Shadi Yousefian.

Kazem Ashtari, the Iranian film director, has died in a car crash, and now Mahin Ashtari, his wife, has to redefine herself after 30 years of marriage. This is a play about empowerment, revenge, sisterhood, and a lot more!

Directions:

Driving:
From I-80E, exit at Central Avenue in El Cerrito , take a left on Central going under the highway and stay in the right lane. Go straight through the light and then immediately veer right just before the bridge, going towards the warehouse buildings. Go towards the black iron gate, but before the gate, take a right at the pylon with business names on it. Central Stage is the first building on the corner. There is plenty of parking.

BART:
Take the Richmond line to El Cerrito Plaza , walk 1 block north to Central Avenue , and then go less than 1 mile (8-10 blocks) down Central Ave. After passing under the highway bridge, follow the same directions as above.
